And because everything affects everything else… When we work on cultivating community, there's more space for our work. When we expand clarity around our work, our embodiment deepens. …and so on.
This is a space to shatter toxic and constraining oppressive & patriarchal programming that works its way into our minds, relationships, and ways of working, loving, and living – season by season.
This is a space to openly navigate the real questions of our lives and work, to sit in deep exploration together, and to receive the support to create what we’re here to create.
Each season, there will be a live Leadership Initiation held by Nisha, Elisha, and occasional guests, into a Matriarchal Leadership Archetype.
From there, you’ll be welcomed to deep-dive into a self-study course that serves to expand your aliveness and deepen your matriarchal leadership.
An optional monthly call with your chosen council - an affinity group who is here to cheerlead and reflect to you in loving and wise ways.

DOORS OPEN AGAIN IN THE FALL.
Most groups like this focus on one thing – your work, your money, your connection with spirit, your romantic relationship, your parenting, your wellbeing, etc. This can cause us to pendulum swing between different areas of focus, throwing others out of balance or straight-up ignoring the impact that each has on the others. Here, instead of pretending anything is happening in a silo, we honor the impact of all our relations, and work to tend the upward spiral everywhere.
Most courses focus entirely on our personal eorts but not on the cultural conditions and systems that impact our lives. That approach is myopic and lacks honesty, leaving folks feeling like they are constantly failing. Here, instead of pretending broken systems don’t exist or cause harm, or feeling helpless in the face of them, we work to evolve our relationships with them as we culture-make new pathways forward.
The world is changing rapidly and dramatically, and we are being called to continually evolve our relationships, our strategies, and our perspectives. Here, we are in touch with the times in a way that allows us to activate our deeper leadership, and be open-hearted and clear-eyed about our paths. This is why the teachings are completely emergent, so we are always tracking the heartbeat of our deeper callings.
We’re not doing this alone. Every session is a gathering, a communion, a conversation, and a deepening with women who truly care, are invested in true wisdom, and want to live in their own rooted truth. No popularity contests, no cool girls club, no bonus points for being special. Just real, grounded, wise connection, and the encouragement to bring our full selves to the table.
We are thrilled with what we are creating with Matriarchal Leadership, and feel confident that if you resonate with the words on this page, you’ll love it too. That being said, if you engage with the welcome materials and community and decide it’s not for you, you have 14 days from the day you sign up to withdraw and receive a refund. After that, you’re all-in and there are no refunds or cancellations for the year, so we can cohere our community and co-create magic.
I carry mixed ancestry (Tamil, Indian and Scottish-French-English), and gratefully reside on the lands of the SENĆOŦEN + Hul'qumi'num speaking peoples.
For nearly 20 years, as a Leadership Coach and the founder of Global Sisterhood Day, I’ve led intimate councils, online courses, and over 60 retreats – walking with deep-hearted, visionary, culture-making women: entrepreneurs, healers, and artists who are committed to giving their gifts in service of a more just and beautiful future.
As a single mother who holds a lot; as a biracial woman who grew-up in a family that was passionate about liberation, democracy, and justice; and with a background in health & executive coaching, ancestral healing, and community building – I have a passion for shifting the conversation around leadership to include the realms of spirit and soul, and to uplift us all.
Elisha is a Priestess & Oracle, Nervous System Alchemist, and Sacred Somatics Facilitator. She will be guiding our monthly Embodied Expansion Sessions, and co-facilitating the Quarterly Ceremonial Activations.
Elisha guides leaders to embody their essence, allowing them to trust their power, have greater impact in their communities, and authentically express their truth. Elisha weaves her 20+ year career as a tenured professor of somatics + dance with breathwork, Neurosculpting, energy work, intuitive channeling, and transpersonal psychology for a whole system approach to healing and transformation.
Ginny Muir is a wildness advocate and woman of ceremony, a barefoot-treading devotee of the mycelial intelligence of this planet. She is a recovering debutante, a tantrika-in-training, a writer, a second-time wife, a (somatically rooted, mystically attuned) relationship coach and a guide on the cyclical path of birth-life-death-rebirth. A relentless mythopoet, she is obsessed with the malleable impact of the stories we tell ourselves. Spend enough time with her and she'll ask her favorite question: "what would bring you so alive it might feel a little like dying?" And then lovingly invite you to step into that narrative, where the juiciest transformation happens.
Jillian Rootwalker serves a living inquiry into what our lives, relationships, cultures, and systems are organized around—and what becomes possible when they are organized differently.
Through initiation, story, song, discernment, and lived practice, she explores the roots beneath human experience: ancestry, family, embodiment, dreams, belonging, money, power, creativity, relationship, and continuity. For those who sense there may be an Other Way.
The Ancestral, bodily, and relational ask the simple question: What is your life organized around?
Cat Wilson is a dance facilitator, DJ, bodyworker, and somatic therapist devoted to the wisdom of the body. For over a decade, she has been guiding transformative movement journeys through conscious dance, trauma-informed embodiment, and ritual healing. As a longtime facilitator at Dance Temple Salt Spring, her sets blend poetic voice, deep bass, and emotional resonance into soul-stirring dances of reclamation.
Rooted in her upbringing in South Africa and shaped by earth-based rites of passage, Cat’s work is anchored in a longing for harmony, justice, and belonging.
Cat facilitates intimate group containers where eros, dance, and nervous system healing meet—spaces where the body becomes a temple of transformation.
Kelsey is a mother, Registered Clinical Counsellor, and community builder. As a therapist, she offers compassionate, trauma-informed therapy for women, teens, and couples. Rooted in reverence, belonging, and the belief that every season of life deserves to be honoured, her work supports people in finding their way back to themselves.
Alongside her counselling practice, Kelsey facilitates sacred after-school circles for pre-teen girls, weaving together nature, ritual, expressive arts, emotional learning, and mindful mentorship.
She also serves as Business Manager for the Center for Devotional Leadership and tends many of the behind-the-scenes elements of Matriarchal Leadership.
Ariana Fotinakis is a woman of mixed ancestry (Anishinaabe and Greek) is the co-founder of Decolonize and Rize, a trauma-responsive coach, breathwork facilitator, and devoted advocate for decolonized well-being. She brings over a decade of experience working with hundreds of individuals and organizations globally, offering a grounded and compassionate approach to personal and collective change that integrates nervous system awareness, cultural reclamation, and systemic transformation.
Her work creates spaces where people and teams can build resilience, deepen self-awareness, and cultivate sustainable well-being.
Outside of her work, Ariana is a devoted mother homesteading on 1/3 of an acre, raising chickens, growing food, and working towards a dream of supporting food sovereignty.
With great humility, I acknowledge that most of our current leadership around Matriarchy comes from Indigenous women and nonbinary folks, and Black women. I honor their embodied wisdom and traditions, and offer myself as an ongoing student of matriarchal ways.
This journey is not a playbook on how to build a matriarchy. This is also not rooted in a lens on matriarchy that simply places women at the top of a hierarchy. It's an exploration of our participation with life that necessitates tremendous unlearning, courageous vision, rooted hope, and the commitment to move in the way of nature – giving and receiving in generous, true, and reciprocal ways. Here we practice surrendered engagement in the flow of emergence, a rewilded relationship with time, animist listening, and legacy through the lens of intimate belonging with the cycles of birth, sustenance, death.
I do not come with answers, but I'm here to live into the questions with you, as we build something more beautiful for our lives, our children's, and their children's.
If you are feeling this, come on in.
With love, Nisha
