Most groups like this focus on one thing – your work, your money, your connection with spirit, your romantic relationship, your parenting, your wellbeing, etc. This can cause us to pendulum swing between different areas of focus, throwing others out of balance or straight-up ignoring the impact that each has on the others. Here, instead of pretending anything is happening in a silo, we honor the impact of all our relations, and work to tend the upward spiral everywhere.

WE EVOLVE OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH SYSTEMS.

Most courses focus entirely on our personal eorts but not on the cultural conditions and systems that impact our lives. That approach is myopic and lacks honesty, leaving folks feeling like they are constantly failing. Here, instead of pretending broken systems don’t exist or cause harm, or feeling helpless in the face of them, we work to evolve our relationships with them as we culture-make new pathways forward.

WE MOVE WITH THE REALITY OF THE TIMES. 

The world is changing rapidly and dramatically, and we are being called to continually evolve our relationships, our strategies, and our perspectives. Here, we are in touch with the times in a way that allows us to activate our deeper leadership, and be open-hearted and clear-eyed about our paths. This is why the teachings are completely emergent, so we are always tracking the heartbeat of our deeper callings.

For nearly 20 years, as a Leadership Coach and the founder of Global Sisterhood Day, I’ve led intimate councils, online courses, and over 60 retreats – walking with deep-hearted, visionary, culture-making women: entrepreneurs, healers, and artists who are committed to giving their gifts in service of a more just and beautiful future.

As a single mother who holds a lot; as a biracial woman who grew-up in a family that was passionate about liberation, democracy, and justice; and with a background in health & executive coaching, ancestral healing, and community building – I have a passion for shifting the conversation around leadership to include the realms of spirit and soul, and to uplift us all.

Elisha weaves her 20+ year career as a tenured professor of somatics + dance with breathwork, Neurosculpting, energy work, intuitive channeling, and transpersonal psychology for a whole system approach to healing and transformation.

Ginny Muir is a wildness advocate and woman of ceremony, a barefoot-treading devotee of the mycelial intelligence of this planet. She is a recovering debutante, a tantrika-in-training, a writer, a second-time wife, a (somatically rooted, mystically attuned) relationship coach and a guide on the cyclical path of birth-life-death-rebirth. A relentless mythopoet, she is obsessed with the malleable impact of the stories we tell ourselves. Spend enough time with her and she'll ask her favorite question: "what would bring you so alive it might feel a little like dying?" And then lovingly invite you to step into that narrative, where the juiciest transformation happens.

Jillian Rootwalker serves a living inquiry into what our lives, relationships, cultures, and systems are organized around—and what becomes possible when they are organized differently.

Nicole Oxendine is an Indigenous feminist catalyst for advancing systemic and organizational change. For over 30 years, she has led strategic communications, policy advocacy, and program development for transformative impact. Nicole has held senior leadership and consulting roles with the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, the National Women’s Law Center, the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian, the Children’s Defense Fund, and the New York State Assembly.

Dedicated to advancing equity for women, children, and historically disenfranchised communities, Nicole works to amplify marginalized voices and drive meaningful change. Rooted in justice and culture, she founded RiverShe Collective Arts, a collaborative creative community and independent production company.

Skylar Liberty Rose is a London-born, New York-based midlife guide and pro-aging advocate who has spent over a decade helping women navigate the transitions that come with aging.

She creates Touchstones, personalized meditations that serve as daily anchors, and Customized Ceremonies to honor midlife rites of passage. She is a teacher on Insight Timer, and her 2020 documentary diary, A Woman in the World, is featured in the U.S. National Women’s History Museum.

Toi Marie is a writer, educator, and founder of Loving Black Single Mothers, an organization that redistributes resources directly to Black single mothers across the U.S. Their work reimagines traditional nonprofit models by centering mutual aid, autonomy, and deep care.

Toi's  broader work explores the intersections of capitalism, care, and liberation, inviting people to study how systems shape their lives and to practice living differently. I design study programs and frameworks, such as Uprooting Capitalism and Deconstructing Motherhood, that bridge systemic critique with embodied, relational change.

Patricia Parkinson is an ontological designer, polymath, and protopian futurist with significant experience helping organizations navigate complex systems change and digital transformation. Her work focuses on organizational emergence—designing participatory governance, community structures, and digital systems for major institutions and pioneering projects, including Burning Man, Esalen, MAPS, Everipedia, and Indigenous-led nature regeneration networks.

Patricia is the co-founder and steward of OpenCivics, a network developing peer-to-peer infrastructure and participatory funding for open civic innovation. She also directs Future Historic and stewards Imaginal House – a community hub on Salt Spring Island.

Sarah is a community builder, Leadership & Relationship Dynamics Coach, and founder of Our Common. She's spent nearly a decade living in intentional community, exploring what it takes to create resilient, connected ways of relating beyond the western cultural norms of hyper-individualism. Today, she lives with intention to help reweave the village in her own local place by cultivating the relationships, practices, and forms of interdependence that allow communities to truly thrive. With a background in forest ecology and permaculture, Sarah brings whole-systems thinking to her work –  the health of a community is shaped not only by individuals, but by the relationships, patterns, structures, and wider ecosystems in which we participate.

IT’S AN ORIENTATION, A PATH, AND A PRACTICE.

With great humility, I acknowledge that most of our current leadership around Matriarchy comes from Indigenous women and nonbinary folks, and Black women. I honor their embodied wisdom and traditions, and offer myself as an ongoing student of matriarchal ways.

This journey is not a playbook on how to build a matriarchy. This is also not rooted in a lens on matriarchy that simply places women at the top of a hierarchy. It's an exploration of our participation with life that necessitates tremendous unlearning, courageous vision, rooted hope, and the commitment to move in the way of nature – giving and receiving in generous, true, and reciprocal ways. Here we practice surrendered engagement in the flow of emergence, a rewilded relationship with time, animist listening, and legacy through the lens of intimate belonging with the cycles of birth, sustenance, death.  

I do not come with answers, but I'm here to live into the questions with you, as we build something more beautiful for our lives, our children's, and their children's.
