We all want a strategy.
Gimme a game plan, some clear action steps and a schedule, and I’ll do the work.
So simple.
But a strategy is utterly worthless without direction. If you don’t know where you’re going, how on earth will you feel solid with each step?
Before a big race, a coach will have an athlete visualize the experience of victory. When you know your north star, you know which direction to walk in, and it becomes clearer what is required for you to get there.
When I ask ambitious women where they’re headed, they tell me about adventures around the world, meaningful work, their beautiful home, epic love, and fat bank account. But often, they don’t feel themselves there. It’s fuzzy and far away.
In this video, I walk you through an exercise to get in touch with your feminine power to create an Embodied Memory of the Future, as I call it, so you know that the steps you’re taking are aligned. Enjoy!
In the comments below, share what opened up for you in doing this exercise.
Beautiful, Nisha!
Thank you, Sidsel! So lovely to see your beautiful face 🙂
Thank you, Nisha!
This really inspired me to take some action! The 3 things on my list:
1. I need to go on more adventures.
2. I need to go out with family.
3. Exercise!
I’m combining 1+2 for tomorrow. AND I’m going to a slam poetry scene event this week, already planned and everything.
Thanks for the reminder (I’ll tell you how it goes!),
<3 Nadia
Nadia, excellent!
Way to take action. By the way, this is a beautiful example of putting your masculine in service of your feminine. Gorgeous.
Lovely! My list: 1) write, 2) love fearlessly, and 3) live out loud (i.e., don’t hide my light).
Erin, beautiful!
How will you take action around each of these things in the next week?
xo,
Nisha
So off topic (I get side tracked from time to time), but your voice is SO perfect for guided meditation!
Thanks for reminding me of this activity.
1) I am in yet another completely different environment 😛
2) I am shopping for spices, herbs, and in a large market. (no idea where).
3) I feel very light. friendships are there, support is there, time freedom is kinda there but I am very happy, I feel vocalized (writing is consistent and liberating. , I have no debt [no student loans :o)], helping people some how.
I love this exercise! Thank you very much Nisha for the beautiful video. I need to
1. Create a brainstorm list of all possible pathways for income to be generated through my website
2. Research my upcoming trips, plug the specific pricing into my plan and then post pics of these places on my vision board
3. Hold my core desire feelings at the forefront of my day, everyday!
Allison, I love this. Really clear. Do you have a daily ritual around your core desired feelings?
No! I need it! This is a great idea! Hmmmm…..I’ll think on this point. Any suggestions? BIG thank you!
Perhaps first thing in the morning, as you’re waking up?
This is a great tip! I tried it this morning. I sincerely appreciate your help!
This was so lovely, Nisha. Thank you for sharing!
Actions I took today after stepping into this wonderful vision of my future:
1. FINALLY purchased the domain name for my new business. I’m all in now!
2. Organized a notebook full of notes from various trainings/inspirations/random thoughts to help me with #3.
3. Created a list of potential blog posts to get crackin’ on.
This was so inspiring and is something that I will return to again and again!
Boom!
Way to get things moving, Andrea.
I love that you stepped into your
feminine power and found such clear
actions to take. Awesome!
LOVE this Nisha. Thank you! It felt really amazing to push pause and connect to my vision. I appreciated the simplicity and ease of doing a mini snapshot verses a big vision. My 3 actions for today:
1. Carve out 2 hours to get all of my ideas on paper and out of my head.
2. Nourish my body with good foods and rest – make a delicious, healthy, satisfying lunch and take a nap this afternoon.
3. Connect with my husband tonight.
Love this, Megan.
Super sharp and clear.
How did your day go?
xo
Nisha
Beautiful Nisha. Thank you.
It’s funny when you spend time yourself with clients taking them through these exercises the focus can be so much on them that I often neglect to serve myself in this way and do this exercise REGULARLY myself, as it is forever evolving.
So the three things are:
1. Get more support in the home so I can spend more ‘present’ time with my children rather than trying to do it all
2. Take a walk in nature. Everyday.
3. Date night with my husband – out of the house at least once every two weeks (just us).
Thank you for being you.

Jennie, this is fantastic.
Getting help at home will
undoubtedly have you feeling
way more spacious and free.
I have to remind myself to do
my own homework all the time,
too! It’s easy to lose track.
Thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks, Nisha. I love how simple this is. I was expecting a drawn-out meditation, but this is easy—so there’s no room for excuses. 😉 I couldn’t really calm my mind enough to settle on just one vision. I was jumping all over the place and judging everything that came up. But I’ll continue working this into my practice.
Nisha,
I just wanted to thank you again for this. Today is my birthday and I’m spending the morning planning and visioning the year ahead. I’m a written word kind of girl, so this exercise has really helped me to get out of
my head, to fly free and FEEL where I want to be in a year. It’s a great gift!
In gratitude,
Andrea
