At the bottom of the pit of pain,
beyond the passageway of grasping,
past the portal of despair,
there’s a tiny light.
And this light,
in any wide open space,
would diffuse into the nothingness.
But here,
in the stillness of darkness,
in the smallness of silence,
this tiny light illuminates the truth.
And the truth reveals our roots,
gathering nourishment for our journey,
pushing us up towards the sky.
And eventually we discover
the tiniest crack of sunlight,
brightening us with hope.
guiding our way home.

Such a gorgeous post- it reminds me of the sound of a Rumi poem! I love your recent focus on darkness and light; and that we need both to be whole. Echoing Nadine- thank you, thank you!
Thank you, thank you, Kerry Elizabeth!
I appreciate the reflection.
Much love,
Nisha
