So many entrepreneurs kill themselves to crank their work out into the world. The faster they spin their wheels, the more cynical, frustrated and desperate they feel. I’ve been there.

Hustle is a fundamental ingredient for success, without a doubt.

But all hustle with no game {plan} is a failing strategy.
So is all hustle with no play.

If you fail to nurture yourself while building your business, your business will likely fail.

Who will steer the ship if you’re a burnt-out nervous wreck?

Today, I invite you to commit to doing what’s actually required to run a healthy business, which includes being a healthy human.

Fuel your ship.

You do not have to kill yourself to save them.
They will be happy with your happiness, after all.
You will be of greater service if you are served, after all.
The fuller your cup, the more will flow.

After all.

Your capacity to love and give and advise
is directly connected to the elegance
and gentleness you offer her –
the one you are most fully entrusted with.
You.

You only have to love the healer, the helper,
the giver, the artist, more fiercely and deeply
than she has ever been loved.
You.

Look at your intentions for others.
Are they love-filled?
Honest?
Empowering?

And now what of your intentions for
You?

Wake each day, fully committed to doing that
which will propel your ship towards the sun.
First.

For them.
For you.
For all of humankind.
